Power Snatch (above knee)
Bodyweight Strength - This is simply a Power Snatch performed for a set of Pulling Blocks set at a height to where the bar sits right above knee level before starting the lift. This is a fantastic exercise for developing Starting Strength and maximum speed and explosiveness because 1) the Power Snatch is already a very intense power exercise and 2) it requires you to go from 0 to 100% instantly and 3) it gives you a very short range of motion in which to accelerate the bar speed.
