Power Snatch (from floor)
Bodyweight Strength - The Power Snatch is the exact same lift as the Snatch except that instead of landing in a squat when you catch the bar over your head, you will simply land standing up with your knees slightly bent to absorb the impact. This version of the Snatch requires a much higher degree of bar speed because the bar has to travel a further distance since you are not squatting down to land under it.
For power athletes who need a high degree of explosive power for their sport, this is a fantastic exercise. You will not be able to lift nearly the same amount of weight on this exercise as you can on the full Snatch.
