One-Arm Bar Pushups
Bodyweight Strength - This bodyweight exercise is the first step towards mastering the One-Arm Pushup. After mastering this first step you will move on to the next step which is the One-Arm Bench Pushup .
This exercise simply requires either a bar that is racked at about waist height on a squat rack in the gym or some other sturdy object that is at about waist height such as a dining table or something.
Simply follow the exact same technique as the One-Arm Pushup and place your hand on the bar or edge of the dining table rather than on the floor. As you lower yourself down to the bar, make sure that your chest touches the bar right along your nipple line. The technique will be the same as for Bar Pushups except that this exercise will be performed with only one arm instead of two.
After you master this exercise you are ready to move on to the next step which is One-Arm Bench Pushups.
