Kettlebell Clean (two-hand)
Bodyweight Strength - The Two-Hand Kettlebell Clean is a fantastic functional strength, power, and coordination exercise. It starts out exactly the same as the Two Hand Kettlebell Swing (using two kettlebells rather than just one, however) except that the hip thrust will be more upwards than forwards because the goal is to thrust the kettlebell up to the shoulders rather than out to the front.
As the kettlebell travels up the front of your body, you will need to rotate your hands slightly allowing the kettlebells to end up sitting on the outer arms on the pit of your elbows. This ending position at the top of the lift will be identical to the starting position of a Two Hand Kettlebell Military Press.
After completing the rep, rotate the dumbbells back around and let them swing back down (like you would for a Kettlebell Swing) and then after they swing back between your legs again, thrust your hips again to swing them back up to the shoulders.
It is crucial that you fully master the standard Two Hand Kettlebell Swing before attempting the Two Hand Kettlebell Clean.
