Bosu Ball Crunches with Knee Ups are an extremely effective (and painful) bodyweight strength ab exercise that will set your abs on fire if performed correctly.
The exercise is performed exactly like regular Bosu Ball Crunches except that when you reach the top of the crunch, you will stop and squeeze there. While you are holding that position tightly, you will lift one leg off of the ground and tuck your knee to your chest tightly. You will then set that leg back down and lift the other leg off of the ground and tuck your knee to your chest tightly. After this, you will lower your torso back down to the starting position to perform the next crunch.
The technique of the actual crunch on this exercise is identical to that of regular Bosu Ball Crunches and regular Ball Crunches. The important thing to focus on when performing this version of the exercise is to
As I said above, if performed carefully and correctly this exercise will absolutely light your abs on fire and can really bring out excellent abdominal muscle definition because of the intensity of the muscle contraction (assuming that you are lean enough in your abdominal area to see the ab muscles in the first place of course).
