Bosu Ball Crunches

Bodyweight Strength - Bosu Ball Crunches are a bodyweight strength exercise that is performed almost identically to regular Ball Crunches except that:
  1. you will be lower to the ground because the Bosu Ball sits lower than a Swiss Ball
  2. you will not be able to stretch the abs back as far because your shoulders will hit the ground if you do
  3. it is easier to balance because the Bosu Ball is much more stable than a Swiss Ball

Other than these factors, the technique for Bosu Ball Crunches is completely identical to regular Ball Crunches so study the exercise description for that exercise thoroughly and apply the techniques to this exercise.  Also, do not attempt regular Ball Crunches until you have mastered Bosu Ball Crunches because the stability factor that the Swiss Ball creates makes regular ball crunches much more difficult. It is important that you master the exercise technique before adding in the additional challenge of balancing on the Swiss Ball.
