Bodyweight Lunges

Bodyweight Lunges are a classic bodyweight strength and conditioning exercise that develops good flexibility in the hips, strength throughout the entire legs, balance, and overall body control. When used for conditioning purposes Bodyweight Lunges will typically be performed for a very high number of repetitions such as 20, 30, 50, 100, etc.

The technique used for the Bodyweight Lunge is up to you. You can either perform them as Walking Lunges or Stepping Lunges. Either way is acceptable. The only difference, obviously, is that for Bodyweight Lunges you will not be using any external weight for added resistance.
