Upright Rows (dumbbell Two-Arm)

This exercise will be performed exactly like the Barbell Upright Row except that your hands will be holding two separate dumbbells at the same time instead of one single barbell.  The carryover of this exercise to developing bodyweight strength is exactly the same as with Barbell Upright Rows and Single-Arm Dumbbell Upright Rows.  However, performing different versions of the same movement pattern is very functional because it hits the muscles from slightly different angles and develops a more versatile, flexible strength.  This helps make your strength more useful for real life situations because real life is variable and requires differing angles, positions, grips, etc unlike a static workout machine at the gym.

Disclaimer - We do not recommend performing any exercise without the supervision of a highly qualified bodyweight strength professional present with you.  This detailed exercise description is for informational purposes only.  Consult your physician before attempting any strength training program or attempting this exercise or any of the other exercises on www.getrealstrength.com
