SIDE SHUFFLE
Bodyweight Strength - The Side Shuffle is a super simple bodyweight exercise that improves footwork, speed, lateral movement, basic functional bodyweight strength, quickness, and agility. Many athletes use this exercise as a warm-up for a workout, a warm-up for a sporting event, or for agility drills within a workout.
To perform this exercise simply bend your knees slightly in an athletic stance and then shuffle your feet rapidly to run sideways as quickly as possible for a predetermined distance. When you get to the end of the distance, come back the other direction in order to train your body moving both left and right. Do not cross your feet over one another at any point during this exercise.
