Plank on Swiss Ball

Bodyweight Strength - The Plank on a Swiss Ball is an excellent bodyweight strength exercise that increases core strength, stability, and balance.  It is simply a progression of the Plank performed on the floor with the increased difficulty aspect of balancing the forearms on an unstable Swiss Ball instead of the stable floor.  This can increase the muscular activation of the core muscles and increases balance and stability as well.

To perform Plank on a Swiss Ball, simply follow the instructions given for performing a Plank on the floor and place the forearms on a Swiss Ball instead of the floor.

Make sure that you have thoroughly mastered the Plank on the floor before attempting the Plank on a Swiss Ball.
