Lunge Jumps
Lunge Jumps are a fairly straightforward exercise that improves bodyweight strength, explosiveness, coordination, jumping ability, and speed.
Simply get into a lunge position (the down position of a Lunge) and jump straight up from that position and while in the air, switch you feet so that you land in the lunge position with the feet in the opposite lunge. When you land down the next lunge position, simply jump back up again and switch feet midair again. Repeat for the planned number of reps.
It is important that you fully master the Stepping Lunge and the Walking Lunge with added weights before you even attempt Lunge Jumps.
