Leg Press (one-leg)
Bodyweight Strength - The one-leg Leg Press is essentially performed exactly like a regular Leg Press except that it is performed with only one leg. This is obviously not a bodyweight exercise but it does contribute to bodyweight strength because it strengthens all of the primary leg muscles and (unlike the two-leg leg press) allows you to stretch your muscles through a deeper range of motion to develop more flexibility. This increased flexibility contributes greatly to functional bodyweight strength because it enables your body to effectively utilize and master more postures and positions strongly due to developing your strength in these larger ranges of motion.
The flexibility and range of motion benefits of the one-leg Leg Press has over the standard Leg Press (with two legs) are basically identical to the extra benefits that the Split Squat has over the regular Back Squat.
