INTERNAL SHOULDER ROTATION
The Internal Shoulder Rotation is a standard Rotator Cuff exercise that is typically performed with a cable machine. This exercise can help rehab an injured shoulder or can simply help keep the Rotator Cuff strong so that its less likely to get injured in the first place.
For our description we are going to assume you are performing this exercise with the right arm. Set the cable up to where it is at about elbow height, stand with the right side of your body facing the cable machine, hold the handle of the cable in your right hand, hold your elbow against the right side of your body, bend your right arm at a 90 degree angle, and rotate your lower arm towards your chest without moving your upper arm from your side. Once you have rotated the arm as far as it will go towards the chest, allow it to smoothly rotate back and then repeat for the planned number of reps. Do the same thing in reverse on the left side.
