HIGH KNEES
Bodyweight Strength - High knees are simply a basic bodyweight strength and agility drill that is often used as a warm-up exercise for training...especially if the training is going to be explosive and include speed and/or power movements.
To perform it simply run you legs as fast as you can lifting your knees as high as possible with each step. The steps should not be long steps (like they would be if you were sprinting) but should only move you forward at a fairly slow pace, with the primary focus and effort being on the speed of the steps and the height on the knees with each step.
