Crab Walk
GET REAL Strength - The Crab Walk is a simple bodyweight strength and conditioning exercise that many of us performed in elementary school PE class. It does require a fairly large degree of flexibility so if you have not been doing a lot of exercise recently and do not a have solid flexibility and good bodyweight strength already established, I would recommend against this one until you have progressed further. That may sound silly, but the position that the crab walk puts your in can easily result in injury if you do not have solid bodyweight strength yet and it you do not have good shoulder flexibility.
To perform the crab walk, simply prop yourself up on your hands and feet with your body facing up rather than down. Once in position, simply walk on your hands and feet for whatever distance you have planned. Once you get better at this, you can pick up the pace a bit and eventually do it fairly rapidly.
