Bosu Ball Squats (face down)
REAL Strength - Bosu Ball Squat performed with the ball side face down are a simple bodyweight exercise that can later be intensified by adding additional weight in the form of dumbbells in the hand, a barbell on the back or overhead, or kettlebells in the hands.
This exercise increase bodyweight strength, balance, coordination, and overall body control. To perform it, simply lay a Bosu Ball on the ground with the ball side face down and then step up onto the flat side (that is now facing up). Establish your balance in a strong shoulder width stance and then squat down as low as you can without round your lower back (just as you would for a Back Squat) and then stand back up again to the upright position. Perform the planned number of repetitions and then carefully step off of the Bosu Ball again.
