Balance Board Stand
The balance board stand is a simple bodyweight balance exercise that can be performed on a little balance board that many gyms have or (if a balance board is not available at your gym) simply with an aerobics step laid across a foam roller. To perform this exercise, lean the balance board to one side, step on to the down side with one foot and then step on to the up side with the other foot very carefully and slowly as you attempt to establish equal pressure on both sides (and thus balance). Once you have both feet on the board, simply try to maintain balance by standing evenly on both sides and never letting either side hit the floor.
