BACKPEDAL

REAL Strength - The Backpedal is a great bodyweight exercise that improves foot quickness, agility, overall athleticism and functional bodyweight strength, rapid coordination, and speed. Defensive Backs in football perform this exercise a lot because it is very applicable specifically to their sporting activity. However, it is a useful training tool for any athlete or any person who wants to be more functionally strong, fast, coordinated, athletic, and generally prepared all around for any reasonable athletic ability that might be needed.

To perform the Back Pedal, simply get into a semi-crouched athletic stance and run backwards as fast as possible with short rapid steps while maintaining the semi-crouched positions.
